Howth Cliffs

-Ilenia Rubino- an au pair in Dublin.

Thanks to this photograph we can admire the “furze bush,” a typical Irish wild plant easy to find along the coast.
Howth is a small and quiet fishing village a few kilometers from Dublin. In half an hour with a super fast bus you can reach this location, which in my opinion is touristy, surrounded by restaurants, tea rooms, and of course pubs. The path to reach “Baily lighthouse” is downhill and uphill: the minimum time is about an hour but in the end, after walking among the prickly bushes, surrounded by colorful flowers, you can see the magnificent lighthouse in the distance, mentioned in some novels by the legendary writer Joyce.
One of the many must-see destinations if you’re planning to have a unique experience in Ireland.
