Language Classes for Adults and Youths

we aim to give the candidate the complete English Language Learning experience. We don’t just teach English, we create an experience in which the candidate learns, has fun and meets new people while they become a relaxed and confident English speaker. Our classes are carefully designed for the development of the candidate’s English. The maximum number of candidates in each class is 12 in adult classes and 15 in youth classes. The candidate can choose the number of weeks to attend classes.

Accommodation

We offer three types of accommodation, as we believe that each candidate is unique. What suits one candidate may not suit another.

• House-sharing accommodation: single room with plenty of storage space. Full kitchen facilities and a living room with TV. The candidate shares with other young people also experiencing Ireland for the first time.
• Apartment – sharing accommodation:during the summer period only. Single room with a desk and plenty of storage space. Full kitchen facilites , TV , telephone and private mail box.
• Host family accommodation:single room with a desk and storage space and access to the family’s kitchen, sitting room and laundry facilities. Meals are at a set time each day and you are a member of the family.

Note: We have found that candidates often enjoy the house-sharing and apartment sharing options more because of the freedom and independence they can enjoy. They cook what they want when they want and can come and go as they please. The house-sharing and apartment sharing accommodation is generally close to the city centre while the host family accommodation tends to be in the suburbs.

Social and Cultural Activities

• Learning about Irish culture: Irish dancing, Music, Literature, Food and Drink, Irish sports (Hurling and Gaelic football)
• Learning about Irish countryside: We arrange weekend trekking excursions to give candidates the opportunity to experience the Irish countryside.
• Learning about working in Ireland:We have designed a special two-hour seminar to help students interested in working in Ireland to become more effective in the workplace.

Note: For work placement candidates, weekday activities are offered as a complimentary service during their weeks while attending an English course.
